Sydney Refurbished.

After taking a look back at my Sydney illustration, I decided it I needed to rethink the composition... so I did! I like it much better now. Plus it's hot pink and that's awesome.

Falling for Beijing

I am trying to decide... guy with color? or without color?  I feel like I am leaning more towards without color so the focus is entirely on the girl but feedback is appreciated!  I've also designed the pattern which I will post later.  Falling for Beijing! And yes, the guy was inspired by my fabulous fiance!

Lipgloss - almost finished with the real thing!

"Sunkissed in Sydney"

Here is the third illustration for the lip gloss line I have been working on. Almost done! I have now gone on to now actually making the packaging so I'm excited.  There is one more illustration that is pretty much done... "Falling for Beijing" and it is coming soon!

Viewbook

"The community, the people, the businesses, the culture, and the revitalization of the city."
-representation of revival and growth

"Cultural diversity, the music, the art!"

So, my professor Don asked me and two close friends, Veronica and Ray,early this week to do illustrations for the CCS viewbook. We had to illustrate quotes about Detroit that were provided to us, it was pretty much open to interpretation in any way on our part. I just wanted to use a combination of line, texture and pattern to showcase the quotes.

Walk Detroit

Having fun with my new press!

Trying to figure out how to fold the dang skirt!  Finally got it after the table was covered in different types of folded paper.

Here it is! My poster design for the Detroit Shoppe at Somerset mall.  I had a lot of fun with this one because I tried some different things and it gave me an excuse to buy a press :).  I feel like I really stuck true to myself with this one and it turned out just as I wanted.  Of course, as always, feedback is appreciated.  Walk Detroit!
